Job Summary
The AU Accounting Assistant is responsible for managing end-to-end financial operations. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, timely processing of transactions, and compliance with trust accounting requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting experience and the ability to manage complex financial queries with minimal supervision.

 

Key Responsibilities
✓ Manage full-cycle accounting functions including financial processing and reporting
✓ Perform invoice processing, ensuring accuracy, proper coding, and timely payment
✓ Handle levy receipting and allocation across strata schemes
✓ Conduct daily and monthly bank reconciliations
✓ Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions
✓ Maintain accurate financial records and update data in accounting systems
✓ Prepare financial reports, including periodic statements
✓ Perform trust account reconciliations in compliance with regulatory requirements
✓ Respond to and resolve complex accounts and financial queries independently
✓ Ensure data integrity and accuracy within all accounting systems
✓ Support audit requirements and financial compliance obligations

 

Qualifications
✓ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance, or any other related field
✓ Minimum 2+ years of experience in accounting and finance
✓ Background in property management, or trust accounting is preferred
✓ High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling
✓ Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and trust accounting compliance
✓ Willing to work on-site
